Born on 16 December 1955 in Adelaide, George was a beloved son of Katerina Mitris and the late Nikos Mitris, founding members of the Pan-Laconian Society, originally from Geraki, Laconia.
George grew up deeply connected to the Pan-Laconian Society, embracing its traditions and values, and was a cherished member of our community. His support, kindness, dedication, and warmth will be dearly missed by the Society and all who knew him. Our heartfelt condolences go out to his family during this difficult time.
