"This grant is far more than an investment in kitchen equipment; it is an investment in our people, our volunteers and our community. It will help ensure that the Pan-Laconian Family Centre continues to be a welcoming place where friendships are strengthened, traditions are preserved, and everyone is made to feel at home."

The Pan-Laconian Society of South Australia Incorporated "O Leonidas" is delighted to announce that it has been awarded a $25,174 Multicultural Affairs Grant under the South Australian Government's Expand Together program for 2025–2026.
The funding, provided through the Department of the Premier and Cabinet, will enable the Society to modernise the kitchen facilities at the Pan-Laconian Family Centre through upgraded fryers and the purchase of larger, energy-efficient refrigerators and freezers. These improvements will enhance food preparation, expand storage capacity and deliver greater energy efficiency.
The upgraded facilities will directly benefit the Society's many activities, including community barbecues, seniors' gatherings, cultural celebrations, community lunches, fundraising events and educational programs, while helping our dedicated volunteers continue providing the warm Greek hospitality for which the Centre is renowned.
The Pan-Laconian Society sincerely thanks the Government of South Australia, the Department of the Premier and Cabinet, and The Honourable Zoe Bettison MP, Minister for Multicultural Affairs, for their continued commitment to multicultural communities. This generous investment will strengthen our ability to serve members and the wider community for many years to come, ensuring the Pan-Laconian Family Centre remains a vibrant home of friendship, culture and tradition.
